A new position has been created for a National Business Development Manager in the team.
This is a new position within the business which requires a candidate to develop the professional area of the business and optimise field structure to achieve significant sales growth and brand recommendation.
This role is responsible for recruitment, management and development of 6 Regional Managers and 30 Sales professionals in the UK and Ireland.
You will need an understanding of the business strategy and aligning the structure to achieve strategic goals as well as being able to identify new business opportunities with in the UK and Ireland.
It is also required to work alongside the marketing team to understand priorities and translate these into sales objectives.
This is an office based role but may require UK wide travel up to 3 days per week.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a pharmaceutical / healthcare background and will currently be operating within a people management role.
You will be a strong leader who can challenge the status quo and act as a catalyst for change.
You will have a strong focus on development and coaching people and be able to effectively delegate work that is challenging, motivating, empowering and helps grow people professionally.
It is important that you champion new initiatives and adopt a flexible approach to problem solving that leads to effective and creative solutions.
Other key competencies would include having a solid vision and strategy and being able to set clear plans and priorities. It is also essential for the candidate to be educated to a degree level.
