Our financial services client is looking for a Hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager to work on a within a HR transformation project focusing on the Rewards Programme.
As the Hybrid Business Analyst/Project Manager you will be an expert at managing, planning and delivering the organisational, financial and operational aspects of the project whilst understanding and analysing the needs of business. This will also require working on projects to define, shape, review and validate requirements to Change processes, products and service offerings. Central to this role will be leading a team through all stages of the life-cycle to ensure effective implementation of the project deliverables and to the agreed business objectives. It will also be essential to evaluate and recommend solutions to address the identified business requirements to drive business improvements.
Other key accountabilities within the BA remit will include:
-Developing Business Case
-Challenge priorities and requirements to ensure proposals meet business needs
Coordinate the production, prioritisation and agreement of business process and system requirements
-Coordinate workshops as and when required
-Support the production of the IBC/FBC and the sign off process as well as present findings
-Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Subject Matter Experts, Accountable Executives, customers, suppliers and colleagues in own and other Business Units, where required
-Support the activities of assigned team members, contribute to their development and provide support and guidance as appropriate
-Support reviews to ensure full understanding of issues and risks, formulate requirements on how these may be addressed
-Develop the necessary knowledge of systems, processes and procedures to ensure all elements of the project are delivered
-Ensure compliance to the requirements, standards, practices and procedures of the Business Unit(s)
Other key accountabilities with the PM remit will include:
-Manage own project deliverables
-Manage work stream/project timescales and budget
-Support the assessment of risk, dependencies and cost over-runs. Manage risks or escalate as appropriate
-Build effective working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues in own business unit
-Supervise the day-to-day activities of assigned team members, contribute to their development and provide support and guidance as appropriate
-Contribute to the testing, analysis and design requirements and delivery of quality driven test solutions
-Support the research, analysis and information for decision making and provide guidance to sponsors, customers and team members
-Contribute to the project deliverables in accordance with the established processes, standards, practices and procedures of the Business Unit
