Role:
Reporting directly to the Group CPO and working collaboratively with Local Purchasing functions you will be responsible for the following remit:
Collating global HR & Professional Services Procurement data, identifying opportunities to leverage the Groups global scale, implementing Global rather than Local or Regional category structures and strategic vendors where commercially beneficial
Mapping key Stakeholders globally, securing buy-in and support, building relationships and engagement, overcoming objections
Operating as an advocate of Global Procurement; selling the benefits and raising the profile of Sourcing globally
Delivering commercial value via ensuring best practice procurement strategies are accepted and embedded within the Group, delivering increased control, compliance and governance
Working with existing, and identifying new suppliers; leading supplier selection and SRM
Negotiating global agreements on behalf of complex and diverse business units
Driving innovation and challenging historic principles and practices
Acting as a global subject matter expert, providing expertise to Senior Executives and local Purchasing
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience and expertise operating at EMEA or Global Category lead level, ideally within a complex, global matrix Sourcing environment
Excellent HR & Professional Services category knowledge
Ability to design and implement appropriate procurement processes, procedures and performance measures internationally
Experience of driving business adherence to corporate procurement policy
Collaborative and persuasive; able to influence at all levels
Excellent academic profile, ideally with MCIPS accreditation
