Reporting and Category Analyst
Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 (Dependant on experience)
An opportunity has arisen for a Reporting and Category Analyst to join our Company in our City Centre office.

Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst.
The successful applicant will be responsible to own and manage operational reporting.
 Creation of new records as required, data analysis, provide insights to Clients on category and space performance and support Category Managers to ensure all report requirements for our Clients are delivered.
* Provide accurate analysis, insights and recommendations for commercial activities and strategies for Clients
* Ensure deep actionable analytical insight outputs and recommendations are communicated adequately to all key Stakeholders and Clients
* Drive regular reporting on categories and catalogues to key internal stakeholders and Clients
* Analyse large datasets, drawn your own inferences and presented them successfully to management and clients using a reporting tool
* Design, automate and maintain daily, weekly/periodic compliance and brand performance to clients
* Instigate initiatives which add value to consumer insight e.g. on gong pro-active analysis and data for brand reviews
* Prepare review packs and attend Client meetings with the Account Management team
 
Candidate Essential Requirements:
* High level of numeracy and analytical capabilities
* Resilient with a 'can do' attitude focused on delivering value and results
* Proactive self-starter with a proven ability to successfully work on their own
* Excellent interpersonal and social skills, cultural sensitivity and the proven ability of working with multiple levels of management - both internally and externally
* Conversant with the latest analytical and forecasting methodologies
* Advanced user of Excel and Powerpoint and experience in working with databases and reporting tools
* Must have a pro-active approach to work and an open and enquiring mind
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and to very tight deadline
* Experience on analysing large datasets and draw own inferences
* Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and processes

Candidate Desirable Requirements:
* Knowledge of SQL and ability to use SSRS reporting tool
