Network Support Consultant is required for this expanding Tier 1 Telecommunication company.

Candidates must have:
- Proven experience with the telecommunications industry
- Advanced Cisco routing & switching
- Strong knowledge of MPLS, IP/data technologies and access technologies
- Service Provider Network understanding
- Strong understanding on QOS
- Ability to demonstrate excellent IP Routing/Switching and voice knowledge
- Strong understanding of MPLS and carrier backbone technologies
- Other technologies such as VoIP, IPSEC, APO, security would be a big advantage
- Ability to demonstrate excellent fault diagnosis and best practice troubleshooting concepts
- Basic Voice (CUCM, SIP, IPT), Riverbed will be added advantage

You will be responsible for providing 3rd line technical support on all solutions delivered to customers, such as MPLS, VPN, Internet access, VoIP, APO and Security.

The team is also responsible for all technical follow up, determine root causes, lab testing, preventive maintenance and analysis, and training of other support teams such as L1 and L2.

Your Duties will include:

- Provide coverage on extended business hours from UK
- 3rd level support for L1 and L2 teams
- Ownership of escalated tickets, resolver group for customers
- Driving escalation into product engineering teams for platform related issues and following up ensuring effective communication between operations and engineering
- Updating tickets with detailed factual information on a regular basis
- Follow up after resolution for root cause analysis, reports preparation, technical support for Service Manager
- Working with respective engineering teams on the introduction of new products and services
- Vendor support escalation and ticket handling
- Qualify and implement complex changes
- Train ASD SOC L1 and L2 teams
