Team Description
The Shared Services Test Team is a global testing service providing Functional and Non-Functional Testing across multiple platforms, which are utilised firm-wide to support Payments screening and messaging.
The Team consists of 60 resources based in four locations globally (Bournemouth, Mumbai, Tampa and Manila) working across a number of major initiatives relating to SWIFT Messaging, Sanctions Screening, Central Payments Hubs and Line of Business Test Support.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SWIFT Functional or User Acceptance Test Lead.
This candidate should have a minimum of 5-6 years of SWIFT Financial Messaging experience, supported with strong team management, planning and organisational skills, demonstrating accountability & ownership for quality and delivery.
The candidate should understand the 5 key components of a SWIFT message type and have experience testing all categories of message types.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a team of dedicated test resources, Fixed Term Contractors (FTC) and Full Time Employees (FTE) Responsible for leading Test Analysts, supporting the Line of Business (LoB) onboard migration to the SWIFTBus, through co-ordinating and driving test execution to ensure LoB's are on boarded as per the agreed wave migration schedule.
Understanding the day-to-day key objectives of the Program, by working closely with the Program Manager, Project Manager, Business Analysts and Onboard Team.
The ability to work closely with the LoB Test Leads and Project Managers, to develop the Test Strategy and approach for their migration.
Understand the current testing progress status of all LoB onboards by monitoring Quality Center daily and tracking and communicating any deficiencies which are considered blocking defects. Escalating significant risks and issues to the Project Manager and Program Manager immediately when raised by the Test Analyst.
Managing and tracking these defects to closure is of key importance.
To review Static Data Handovers created by the MSP Phase 3 Test Analysts, prior to these being sent to the Global Financial Messaging Operations team at minimum 2 weeks before implementation. This will include ensuring the feedback received is integrated into the revised handover documentation.
Qualifications:
Your Background:
Bachelor's degree or higher (2.1 ), preferably in a numerate subject.
Experience working in a Test Manager / Lead role with strong management, planning and organisational skills.
Minimum of 5-6 years SWIFT Financial Messaging experience (within a Functional/User Acceptance test background across all message type categories).
Self starter with sufficient initiative to drive SWIFTBus migration testing. An excellent communicator, with the ability to interact with all employees within the organisation.
This will include face-to-face meetings, audio and audio-visual teleconferencing, and the delivery of documentation for sign off, both within and without JPMorgan Chase.
Previous experience in leading test execution schedules and assisting Test Analysts when issues are identified.
