We are looking for a Field Based Account Manager who has a background from within Construction Industry. The company is a national provider of aggregates and cement products and they require someone to manage the accounts and new business in the West Yorkshire Area.

Key Tasks

* To fully understand the range of special products and where they are beneficial to our customers for a range of applications and promotion thereof.
* Promotion of special products to both end user and specifiers through presentations, demonstrations and on site trials
* To actively promote services alongside products to obtain maximum value for both customer and the Company.
* To construct and update local customer action plans
* Implement customer segmentation
* Implementation of local customer action plans
* To develop an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the market, including competitor activity.
* Identifying and securing opportunities to grow the customer base by developing the commercial relationship with present customers and bringing new customers to the
* Manage the building and maintaining relationships with all relevant contacts at each customer account to which they are designated 'lead representative'
* Controlling and influencing the commercial relationship with customers ensuring all involved are kept fully informed
* When appropriate managing projects/contracts from initial plan or enquiry through to a successful conclusion
* Identifying and meeting the needs of customers by offering advice, support and problem solving
* Securing orders to target levels of revenue, profit and value from existing or new customers
* To liaise closely with Customer Service Representatives - Sales to ensure excellent sales coverage in our given markets

Candidates will need to have worked within the construction industry
