The Head of IT will have experience in the following;
Solid process and Project Management experience including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling and communications on multiple projects Outstanding communication (written and verbal) & analytical skills.
People and vendor management.
Proven track record in designing and establishing and implementing Infrastructure department foundations
5+ Years experience in data network infrastructure operations.
Strong background in creating data centre strategies including hybrid cloud services.
In depth experience in driving 3rd party relationships to supply Infrastructure services
Direct, hands-on experience specific to: Data Networks, Site Room (VM, Prod, QA, DEV Arch).
Internet and Intranet security devices, wireless, switching and routing.
Knowledge of networking technologies (routers, switches, wireless, etc.)
In-depth understanding of how telecom service providers install, test, troubleshoot and escalate circuits.
Understanding of MX network carriers and associated technology (i.e. MPLS, ISP, etc.)
Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting experiences with data/servers technologies.
Knowledge of support service contracts and vendor management experience.
Proven track record with leading technical & business teams, especially remote teams. (IM, External Vendors)
Solid knowledge of UNIX and Windows (Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows XP, Windows 7, VMWare ESX, Sans)
Solid Knowledge of Database (Oracle 11i, MS SQL 2008).
Strong knowledge about Project Management, IT Governance.
Previous staff management and mentoring experience of diverse lean team of skill sets, Commercial IT infrastructure development and support experience
System deployment across a customer base that ranges in size from individual operators to corporate multi-site users
Familiarity with Unix, Linux and Windows server platforms and associated LAN and WAN
Windows 2000, 2003, XP and Windows 7/8 architectural knowledge (for both Client and Server aspects)

Six Sigma MBB/BB, Matrix organization skills, ability to motivate multiple teams to maintain collaboration, Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels, Project Management (Prince 2 certification)
