We are looking for an enthusiastic Commercial Procurement Specialist with suitable experience and qualifications who can manage multiple projects with in MRO and Capital Expenditure in Yorkshire

We are looking for an enthusiastic Commercial Procurement Specialist with suitable experience and qualifications who can manage multiple projects with in MRO and Capital Expenditure. Ideally the Procurement Specialist will have extensive knowledge of contractual agreements with in the Energy / Oil / Gas sector.

Who we're looking for
The role of Procurement Specialist in Yorkshire will also manage and support the Major Projects team in all commercial aspects of projects.. The Procurement Specialist will ideally come from a Procurement background such as a Senior Category Manager, Strategic Purchasing Manager or Procurement Commercial Manager with in Energy Oil Gas.
* You'll assist in the development of project strategies for the project life cycle from conception through to completion and delivery and manage and support the interface with all stakeholders, ensuring that departmental procedures comply with the department and site requirements.
* You'll be managing project costing to enable engineering costs to be verified and provide feedback to mitigate future project delays and need for Project re-approval .
* With a track record of completion and delivery of Major Projects
* Commercial activities and experience in running tenders and post contract letting processes and procedures, you should have the ability to lead and motivate a team of Procurement and Commercial services staff.
* You'll possess strong negotiation, planning, organisational and leadership skills and be skilled in Forms of Contract.
* You should be familiar with relevant Contract Law.
* You'll demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and have the ability to analyse problems and make well-reasoned and sound decision
