Our client are a top independent London based media agency providing both offline and online advertising services to clients from sectors such as telecommunications, retail, online gaming and not for profit. They are looking to recruit a talented Technical SEO Executive to join their thriving digital team.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months experience in SEO achieved agency or client side (though agency experience is preferred) and will be particularly well versed in the technical elements of SEO. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior level SEO professional to join a top agency and work on some cutting edge digital campaigns.

Role Responsibilities:

Perform website audits to highlight any issues and ensure websites are properly constructed to maximize search engine visibility
Compile, present and implement detailed recommendations including how to optimise website architecture, internal link structure, and server requirements
Recommend and implement on-site and technical changes and carry out 'hands-on' changes to commercial websites
Advise clients' web developers, IT and designers to produce websites that meet SEO standards
Interpret data (eg from Google Analytics and other packages) to get to diagnose problems and come up with solutions to improve websites' performance
Liaise with clients' technical teams and relay findings, make recommendations on website usability and recommend a systematic roadmap to implement improvements

Candidate Requirements:

Professional or academic background in Information Technology, Information Systems or web development
Technical understanding of the internet and search engines and how they rank websites
Good all round SEO knowledge with at least 6 months experience of technical SEO
Sound knowledge of technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP
Client management experience with ability to form customer
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
Experience of giving advice on usability, information architecture and web development

Remuneration

The client are offering the successful candidate a salary in the region of £20,000-26,000 with a host of benefits.
