Our client, a leading Fortune500 Insurance Holding Company is currently seeking a Sourcing Manager to join the business on an initial 6 Month FTC whilst the business recruits permanently.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

* Lead and immediately reduce the businesses cost base be renegotiating with the top 100 suppliers targets TBD
* Strategically source new requirements across all categories
* Build credible internal relationships and influence stakeholders across the business, delivering significant results
* Improve the skills and capabilities of the sourcing team to ensure the team and its capabilities can scale with the anticipated business growth

Person specification:

* Relevant 5+ years Sourcing experience, with a strong preference for experience in the Financial Services sector and/or in a high growth environment
* Exceptional influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills
* Relevant and demonstrable experience in contacts development, negotiation and review, with proven skills in the achievement of a win-win solution in key negotiations and relationships
* Experience in software purchasing systems such as Oracle or other ERP systems, would be an advantage
