Exciting opportunity to join a luxury property developer and interior designers, specialising in the prime residential market in London. As well as carrying out their own developments, they provide a design and project management service for private clients. Their projects range from minor refurbishments to the complete redesign of properties.

They are looking for an experienced Book Keeper and Office Manager to efficiently manage the accounts and run a dynamic and diverse office. You will take on the day-to-day management of the office and produce monthly management accounts and cash flow. There will also be a small amount of PA duties supporting the Managing Director and Head of Projects.

Job description:

Book Keeper
- Inputting all invoices into Sage and processing payments via Sage/ bank
- Raising invoices to clients on instruction from Head of Projects
- Approving and processing monthly staff expenses
- Processing bank drawdowns on a regular basis for MD
- Regular liaison with Accountants
- Managing all online bank accounts and company credit cards /paperwork related to any purchases
- Producing monthly cash flow
- Creating monthly Management Accounts eg. Profit and Loss and Balance Sheets
- Ability to process office PAYE

Office Management:
- Maintaining office stock including stationery, printing supplies and kitchen items
- Managing the office cleaning company
- Ensuring the office/meeting table is well presented at all times
- Providing basic IT support and over seeing any problems with internet and office printer
- Managing budget for any office and company costs
- Managing recruitment process for new staff and processing new starter paperwork/ obtaining references
- Maintaining employee personnel files and holiday and sickness records
- Oversee / manage any office maintenance and equipment issues
- Book tickets for staff attending exhibitions and training courses

PA Duties:
- Manage MD's expenses and receipts
- Reconcile receipts with monthly bank and credit/debit card statements
- Organise new client meetings and book tickets for dinners/events
- General email correspondence for MD
- Assist with any of the MDs personal day to day management eg. car tax, home insurance
- Co-ordinate office diaries and oversee meeting requests
- Regular email merges to specific categories on database
- Managing Landmass Contacts Database inputting new business card details/amendments
- Adhoc administrative tasks to support the team

Essential Requirements:

- Educated to degree level
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Advanced knowledge of Sage 50
- Typing speed of at least 60 wpm
- At least 3 years' experience as a Book Keeper
- Permanent UK residency

- Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines

This is a full-time role based in Knightsbridge. Working hours 9am to 6pm with 25 days holiday per year. Salary £23,000-£24,000 depending on experience.
