We are looking for relief support assistants to work at our Jigsaw service in Helensburgh.
We are looking for a relief support assistant/driver to work at our Jigsaw service in Helensburgh.
Cornerstone's Jigsaw service provides support to children and young people with disabilities and other support needs.
Jigsaw is committed to supporting children and young people and their parents or carers to have the opportunity for a break.
At Jigsaw we give the children and young people a chance to socialise with peers and work on reaching goals through activity with meaningful outcomes.
The Relief pool was set up to allow the service manager to call upon members to cover for permanent sickness and holidays.
As a non-contracted member of the 'relief pool' there will be no set hours of working but will be as and when required by the Service Manager.
We are looking to hear from enthusiastic, positive and motivated people.
You will make a real difference to the lives of the children we support.
SVQ level 2/3 in Social Care (or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards this is essential and demonstrable experience of working in a caring or supportive role would be advantageous.
Applicants for the driver post must hold a driving licence (with category to drive mini-buses) gained before 1997.
Applicants for all posts must be willing and available to work weekends.
