Vacancy Details
Our client is looking to expand their Mechanical and Fluid Systems Engineering Group to meet the needs of current and future business. We are seeking experienced and ambitious engineers to join our Mechanical and Fluid Systems Group. The successful candidate will have significant experience in the design and modification of fuel, hydraulic, oxygen and environmental conditioning systems.

The successful candidate will be employed on major projects and have the ability to create, analyse and develop bespoke engineering solutions to meet the needs of customers worldwide on a variety of civil and military aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and development of innovative and complex mechanical and fluid systems
* Produce complex technical designs, schematics and test reports
* Conduct design verification
* Provide support to Preliminary/Critical Design Reviews
* Work as part of a team of multi-disciplinary engineers

Experience & Qualifications

Candidates will be degree qualified in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering with appropriate Industry experience. The candidate's experience and skills will include some, or all, of the following:

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Mechanical design experience to include the development and modification of new systems
* Experience of managing project work packages to tight timescales throughout the full life cycle of the project
* Experience of working in a multi-skilled environment (i.e. developing bespoke fuel systems or mechanical system modifications)
* Analytical skills experience is extremely crucial to the role and therefore experience of Flowmaster V7, MATLAB and AutoCAD are essential
* Experience of requirements capture and the management thereof using DOORS would be an advantage, but is not essential
