Contracts Manager - Category Specialist Brentford, UK & 20% travel to Iraq Rate; £600- £625 per day Contract; 11 months Working for an Global Oil & Gas major, the ideal candidate will be required to report to the Procurement Manager in supporting all contracting related activities to this Greenfield Developments project both, pre and post contract award, and contribute to a process of continuous improvement. As the Category Specialist, your role will also include; liaising and co-ordinating with others and guidance to, project personnel on contract related matters. Participating in supplier management process activities, programme management, activity tracking & performance reporting.
The key challenges are to ensure that support is provided to the operations in Iraq, whilst managing the delivery of all contracts awarded and perform an assurance role on behalf of the investors on this redevelopment project.
Previous experience of working within the Oil & Gas industry, drafting & developing contracts, conducting bid lists, requests for proposals, evaluations, contract administration and processing contract awards is also required. In addition, if you are CIPS qualified (or working towards this) & have working knowledge of Maximo, Ariba and IS Networld systems would also be desirable.
