We are working with a major blue-chip Drinks organisation that has a requirement for a HPLC Analyst to work out of their brand new laboratory in Greenford, North West London.

Job Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Quality Control Director the role is responsible for leading the HPLC capabilities of the new London QC laboratory. You will be the first point of contact for testing all products from the manufacturing facilities in the EMEA region. There is the opportunity to travel to visit and liaise with the manufacturing facilities in the region as well as in the US.
Principle Responsibilities:
* To routinely test raw materials, finished products, trial samples and investigational samples using analytical techniques.
* To validate, maintain and operate the HPLC equipment.
* To support the manufacturing sites and handle enquiries in regard to the HPLC analysis of the products.
* Liaise and align with the US based QC laboratory.
* To support the learning and development of the laboratory analysts.
* To write reports, SOPs and other documentation when required.
* To calibrate & maintain equipment in the laboratory.
* To maintain the laboratory and the documentation to GMP, H&S & ISO standards.
* Any other duties as required in support of the running of the regional QC department.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* A science degree or equivalent, Bio-Chemistry or Chemistry is advantageous
* Minimum of 3 years' experience of HPLC analysis in an Industrial laboratory
* Experience of Micro Biological techniques
* Experience of working to Industry laboratory standards (CLAS, ISO17025)
* Experience in laboratory method & HPLC validation.
* Experience in writing laboratory reports, SOP's and documentation
