Our client is a global, integrated specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing, manufacturing and distributing generic, brand and biosimilar products and they are looking to recruit an OTC product manager.
The purpose of the role will be manage selective OTC products through the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements and defining product vision. Implement product strategy through sales and commercial teams.
The main responsibilities of the role will be to:
* Develop the OTC product marketing plan
* Developing category insight using IRI data analysis and external data
* Being an expert in OTC with respect to the competition
* Developing the core positioning and communications to relevant customers for the OTC
product portfolio
* Developing the trade promotion plan with support from the National Channel Manager
* Liaising with NCM to develop National Multiple pharmacy and Pharmacy Buying Group
plans
* Analysis of return on investment for trade spend and promotional support
* Sales material and POS material development
* Management of OTC product marketing budgets to ensure effective delivery
* Management of third party relationships e.g. advertising and creative agencies.
* Website maintenance for OTC brand websites
* Project management of OTC own label supply projects.
The successful candidate will have:
Marketing experience within OTC or generics
Proven Key account/retail experience within OTC, generics or brand
Ability to work and influence at all levels of the business
Excellent planning, analytical and communication skills
Educated to degree level
Ideally PAGB experience
