This is a newly created role within Rosti, a subsidiary of a highly successful, €9b p.a. t/o, privately owned, Swedish Industrial Conglomerate. Rosti has 4 sites in the UK with a turnover of £120m p.a. Supplying precision injection mouldings and assemblies to an automotive and OEM customer base, the company is currently enjoying exponential growth and requires a talented procurement specialist to assess, develop and implement a procurement strategy in order to reduce costs, whilst meeting the demands of a significant increase in production volumes.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will develop robust and effective sourcing strategies, which leverage the buying power of the UK businesses, across raw materials, tooling and energy. Working with planning, sales and technical colleagues, you will be responsible for effective market tracking and forecasting for overall raw material and energy requirements that take into consideration new product development and contract timings. You will relish opportunities for cost saving through professional negotiation, supplier rationalisation and supply chain collaboration activities.
Ideally educated to Degree level, with CIPS or other supply chain qualifications you will bring considerable procurement expertise and a detailed understanding of professional category management. This experience will have been gained in a progressive, fast moving, manufacturing environment. With desire to challenge and improve, your experience will be combined with excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills which will enthuse those around you.
