A leading, financial services client of ours is looking to add to their team with a new Technology Sourcing & Supplier Manager.

As a Technology Sourcing & Supplier Manager, you'll take responsibility for creating strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers whilst driving commercial value from third party sourcing category opportunities. As a technical market expert within the IT and Telecommunications arena, you will design, lead and implement sourcing arrangements within this field, taking the lead on specified categories and running the end-to-end sourcing process (including the tendering of new and existing contracts coupled with the strategic management of the relationship through to contract exit). With executive level visibility, you will drive the fullest overall value from each supplier relationship to deliver tangible and sustainable benefits to our client, whilst creating the opportunity to offer sustainable revenue opportunities to the managed supplier. In collaboration with key stakeholders across the business you will review existing category arrangements, deliver significant annual cost reduction and drive down the number of active suppliers whilst ensuring best practice is at the heart of all that you do.

About you

First and foremost you will be able to demonstrate a wealth of category management expertise across technology categories with extensive supply market and business knowledge pertinent to this area. You'll have strong knowledge of commercial models and techniques at your disposal to ensure you achieve best in class sourcing deals. Your commercial acumen coupled with your outstanding communication skills will enable you to liaise with all levels of our organisation. Networking and influencing will be at the heart of what you do and your dynamic self-motivated approach will enable you to excel in this role.
