We are currently working with a leading Global Oil & Gas client who are looking to recruit a Financial Planning & Reporting Specialist to work with Procurement surrounding projects and based within their site in Middlesex with occasional travel to Iraq.

The role will be proactively supporting in-year performance and linkage into the annual planning process. The role also supports the early identification and mitigation around any performance deviations from expectations.

Accountabilities include:

- Routinely communicates openly and with integrity with key business stakeholders
- Support the PSCM Planning & Performance Management Lead to ensure effective, on-time delivery of all aspects of the Planning & Performance reporting process
- Assist in development of Plans for all PSCM Teams
- Interface with the Iraq region Finance team to ensure alignment on GFO reporting, Quarterly/Annual Region Performance reporting & inflation assumptions
- Report, and develop further as appropriate, KPI metrics for Functional & Region reporting
- Maintain and improve, where possible, the following key areas:
oGlobal Performance Reporting
oInternal Reporting
- Prepare inflation forecasts (in conjunction with stakeholders) that feed into the annual planning processes.
- Perform due diligence of new suppliers/individuals and assign the risk ratings respectively based on information generated in RFP's and the outsource provider of Financial analysis
- Lead the PSCM Risk process such that all major risks are identified and addressed.
- Lead resource in developing appropriate analytics for the annual Contracting & Procurement Plan (CPP) and Category Management Plan (CMP)
- Contribute to the development of Iraqi personnel through knowledge transfer and sharing
- Monitor bid evaluation data information provided to the Costing team is of highest standard

This role requires someone with a financial qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent ideally with experience of working with procurement teams.

Someone highly analytical but also commercial who can work with a larger project, finance or procurement team to assist in developing processes and improving knowledge surrounding forecasting and reporting.
