OBJECTIVES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) To manage and lead the Evening Shift Production Supervisors and to ensure the departments achieve production targets to enable complete on time delivery for all categories of orders.
2) To Progress Chase all products to ensure Van List Performance and Remedial Performance Targets are achieved.
3) To ensure the quality standards required by the Company are consistently maintained.
4) To ensure that service levels are maintained, delivering high levels of productivity, and monitor this through production stats and KPI's.
5) To liaise with the Distribution department to ensure despatch plans are achieved, and evening loading efficiencies maintained.
6) To ensure that the factory is clean and tidy at all times, and consequently that operatives work in safe condition. To liaise with the Health and Safety Officer to ensure that all Company Safety Procedures are followed.
7) To actively promote, through our ISO, LEAN and 5 S programmes, a culture of continuous improvement across all elements of the Operations function.
8) To take evening shift teams briefs.
9) To monitor training within your departments and ensure all operators are suitably trained to provide maximum flexibility.
10) To appraise evening shift staff every year and follow this up with a six monthly review.
11) To undertake other work as directed by the Manufacturing Manager, in order to ensure that the Company objectives are achieved.
12) To carry out duty manager duties at the end of the shift.
