This client are a marketing leading service provider with a strong global remit.
They are currently recruiting into their experienced procurement team and are now looking for a print category manager.
Within this role you will be responsible for driving global strategy within the print category as well and ensuring purchasing policies and procedures are implemented within the team.
The role of category manager will be to Implement Global Sourcing & Demand Management strategies for all print categories, aimed at achieving net cost savings over next 3 years.
You will also be responsible for establishing global spend visibility to clearly define category spend baselines, current suppliers and strategy going forward.
This is a fairly new category for the team therefore you will need to build stakeholder relationships and develop a working relationship to ensure you are providing support for this business area.
For this role, you will need Several years experience at Category Manager level, preferably with global responsibilities and experience in driving cultural change.
Due to the culture of the organisation you will also need to be highly results oriented & focused on business priorities, with a successful record of accomplishments.
