* Direct, lead and effectively utilise the management team towards achieving maximum efficiency in the operation of the Site, maximising sales and margin growth
* Agree Annual and quarterly objectives with direct reports
* Ensure all resources within the business are used efficiently and effectively and meet the requirements for the future
* Ensure customer visits and audits are successful
* Create, implement and monitor capital and revenue budgets
* Ensure that administrative systems are effective
* Monitor, control and reduce all wastes
* Ensure site security and protection of company assets, stock and reputation
* Ensure category plans and business development plans are in place and line in all commercial areas
* Ensure that product development is in line with category/business plans and drive growth
* Ensure that hygiene and quality standards are applied at all times
* Partnering with HR ensure that recruitment, succession planning, organisational design, Performance appraisal systems, training and employee relations are managed effectively
* Ensure that the site operates and adheres to the values of the business
* Ensure that staff discipline is managed in a fair and objective manner in line with P&P and legislative requirements
* Ensure that H&S policy is applied and driven through all departments
* Organisational design meets business needs volume needs, control labour costs and ensure effective controls are in place and managed.

Essential

* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Extensive experience in food business, with proven senior management record in driving operational performance, P&L and continuous improvement
* Experience of managing a site
* Experience of managing a business
* Proven experience of delivering successful change management & performance improvement programmes
* Ability to drive cultural change
