Based in Woking, Surrey, My Client is an independent provider of secure mental health services and are seeking experienced RMN/RNLD's for both their independent hospital in Woking

You will have over 12 months post qualification experience, be RMN qualified and have a current PIN number.

Experience in a secure setting is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure the planning and implementation of a very high standard of care to clients according to their individual needs, as well as to evaluate continuously the care of the resident to maintain this high standard.

• To be actively involved in the delivery of care both by teaching as well as practically in participation with other members of staff.

• To establish good professional relationships with local GPs, Pharmacists, Social Workers, various community groups and local government departments To monitor the continuous development of Support Workers.

• To ensure continuous professional updating in line with P.R.E.P. and statutory requirements.
• 
  
• To supervise the professional work of all junior nursing staff .
• 
  
• To monitor the effectiveness of procedures for the improvement of nursing care as well as prevention and control of infection.
• 
  
• To participate in written and verbal appraisal of Support Workers.
• 
  
• To order and maintain safe custody and administration of drugs To liaise with the medical staff and other members of the multi-disciplinary team in instituting a very high standard of client care and treatment.
• To plan, monitor and evaluate care plans of an assigned client group.
• 
  
• To act as a Primary Nurse/Care Coordinator for allocated patients.
• 
  
• To attend CTM, CPA's and MHRT.
