Due to internal promotion, my client has an immediate requirement for a Senior SAP Finance (FICO) Analyst to join their Global Information Systems (GIS) team in East Yorkshire.
As the Senior Finance Analyst you will act as the primary link between the business requirements, and the underlying capability of the systems, ensuring that the solutions that are delivered are robust, efficient and deliver the maximum possible value to the business.

This will include conducting the analysis of existing business processes, the identification and evaluation of possible business and technical solutions in response to both business issues and improvement opportunities along with the design of future processes.

As a Senior Analyst you will be expected to perform key tasks and duties which in return will be rewarded with a promotion to Lead Analyst in 18-24 months depending on your commitment and dedication.
This is not a business as usual role and you will be working on the latest SAP Technology stack with NEW GL, FSCM across large scale, pan European projects, with additional projects across Manufacturing and Commercial in Q1 2014.

Some of you key roles and responsibilities will include:
*Assess GBU and site/country specific needs against process enablement roadmaps and recommend best course of action.
*Lead small projects using cross team resources as assigned.
*Provide day to day support and ongoing operation of the systems across multiple sites, via a formal support model.
*Conduct issue resolution to resolve issues identified by the business users.
*Deliver effective and robust systems solutions that meet the business requirements/objectives via configuration and/or the generation of functional specifications for development.
*Develop necessary change documentation in accordance with GIS standards.
*In conjunction with Business Analysts and Business Representatives identify process improvement opportunities, provide recommendations and generate business requirements to meet key business objectives, and provide value within the business.
*Conduct Unit testing and manage change through system

Education & Experience
*Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Business discipline or equivalent work experience in the Finance area
*Strong Finance Planning and Analysis Experience
*NEW GL
*FSCM knowledge
*Extensive Systems Configuration and User Support experience in and around the relevant functional area as well as cross functional experience, including multiple full project lifecycles
*Core expertise is SAP FICO Area - AP,AR, GL, AA, Cost Centre Accounting etc.
*Functional Systems knowledge of SAP Finance module and integration with other modules.

Starting salary of between £55,000-60,000 is on offer depending on experience with an excellent benefits package to reflect the role and wider opportunity.
