About the Role:

As a Complex Loss specialist, you will be required to handle high value and complex property and/or injury liability claims typically in the areas of Employers, Public, Construction, Product and Environmental.

You’ll also take responsibility in effectively managing your own case load, assist in the development of Complex Loss in the local and national markets and support the technical development of staff within Liability Services generally.

Naturally, you’ll be able to work on own initiative and be flexible in both the way in which you work and the time necessary to devote to certain tasks.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

In order to be considered for the role of Complex Loss specialist, you must possess the following;

    Minimum ACII qualified. ACILA a distinct advantage
    Demonstrable experience of investigating, handling and settling high value/complex property liability claims, in particular construction, environmental and product liability losses
    Ideally, experience in handling high value/complex injury claims
    A proven track record in client liaison and profile
    Able to work on own initiative
    Flexible in both the way in which you work and the time necessary to devote to certain tasks, be highly motivated, personable and efficient
    Forward thinking and innovative - adjusters are encouraged to share ideas for the development of the Complex Loss offering
    Operate as a team player
    Technically excellent across the range of topics identified
    Good IT skills
    The ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining a high quality of work
    The ability to prioritise work as required
    Full UK Driving Licence essential
