Exciting Opportunity for a Primary or Secondary IT Teacher for Education Technology Specialist

Redrock Education has an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified primary or secondary teacher with strong IT skills to work with schools supporting a new interactive eLearning tablet computer.

This is a full time and permanent position based in Gloucester.

As a teacher you will have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and current experience of today's technology within the classroom and schools.

Your role will include
* Selling the range of technology & tablets to schools across the UK and internationally
* Selling over the phone and in person with meetings
* Offering support and advice on best package for each individual school
* Delivering training to schools on how to use each tablet
* On-going support to schools already using the service
* All round customer service

Your background
* Fully qualified and experienced teacher either primary, secondary or SEN
* Experience of teaching within the last year
* Strong understanding of education and the curriculum
* Strong IT skills with experience of using technology with the classroom
* Confidents with computers, laptops and tablets
* Confident at selling and pitching to school
* Able to deliver training to small and large groups
* Able to travel around the country visiting existing schools and potential schools

The product
Learnpad is an interactive eLearning tablet computer, designed specifically for use in schools. It is a touch sensitive device that can easily replace bulky and unreliable PC's by allowing children to safely and quickly access approved websites, flash based eLearning content such as espresso and Education City as well as educational online videos and other digital curriculum content.

Location
You will be based in Gloucester and expected to travel around the UK to meet with schools. There is also the potential to work 1 or 2 days from home.

Salary
£20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience
