The Challenge

Requirements Gathering - To be able to work with business users to capture technical requirements from a business perspective and then be able to communicate these back to the client while ensuring these match their needs.

Development - Production of code that is well structured, efficient, stable and secure using best industry practices and allows other developers to quickly understand and input into.

Managing Lifecycle development - To be involved in the full lifecycle from requirements analysis, design, development and support using structured methodologies and allow other developers to be able to pick up where you left off.

Solution Design - Be able to identify, communicate and justify solution designs to effectively solve development problems whilst ensuring the application of best practices and alignment with company objectives.

Unit testing, system testing - To undertake and ensure that all development code meets its original design and behaves as it was intended by the end client/user.

Release management - to be able to assist and be part of the effective new release of software / product. After testing and ensure the easiest user experience at all time. Quickly spotting any problems and effectively dealing with these.

The Person
We are looking for strong object oriented software engineers that are genuinely enthusiastic and passionate about technology with 3+ years hands on experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills
We are looking for candidates with a diverse range of technical skills and someone who is business savvy, professional and a real problem solver with practical working knowledge of of the following:

* C# or Java development experience
* Object oriented
* Front and back end development experience
* Agile / SCRUM environment
* XML/XLST
* Web services
