Our client, a market leading Financial Services organisation, seeks to recruit a Telecoms & Networks Procurement Manager.
 The jobholder will operate in a project capacity, acting as an internal procurement consultant, delivering strategic sourcing projects across the breadth of the Telecoms & Networks Category portfolio (circa £350m spend).
This is an exciting opportunity for a hungry and ambitious procurement specialist keen on fast-track career progression.

Role:

The jobholder will report directly to the Head of Networks & Telecoms Procurement, and will be tasked with operating as an internal consultant to the business, responsible for delivering end to end procurement projects across the breadth of Networks (WAN, LAN), Mobile & Fixed Line Telephony, SMS, Video Conferencing and Hardware (switches, routers and cabling).
The jobholder will develop and deliver Procurement projects to ensure they are commercially viable; deliver continuing benefits to meet business requirements at optimum quality, cost and delivery.
As such, it is imperative that the jobholder be able to build effective working relationships with internal customers and key stakeholders across all business units.
In turn, the jobholder will lead negotiations with suppliers to secure contractual arrangements which represent the best possible commercial deal for the Group.

The jobholder will also contribute to the development of Group Procurement models, standards and policies covering procedures, documentation, governance, risk management etc to drive consistency and good practice.

Experience:

* Demonstrable Telecoms & Networks procurement experience
* Experience gained in either the Telecoms or Financial Service industries would be preferred
* Track-record of sourcing project delivery, delivering savings and value
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and management capabilities
* Analytical nature with the ability to develop category MI and reports
* Ideally Degree & MCIPS qualified
